The bell for the end of school rang, and Nikolai led Nat to the restaurant they were gonna go to, a nice Italian one a block away. -
Natsuki held his hand, intertwining their fingers. 'This place is nice.'

"Yeah, I tried to make sure it was a good one." Nik said, smiling.

'You did a good job,' Natsuki said, smiling too.

"Aww, thanks!" He said, sitting down on one of the tables.

Natsuki sat down opposite him. 'You're welcome.'

The waitress asked them both what they'd like after they both looked at the menu. "Order whatever you want." Nik said with a smile. He made sure he had enough money to afford whatever she got.

'Spagetti bolognaise, please,' Natsuki said.

"Chicken alfredo for me." Nikolai said, smiling. "Thanks."

The waitress nodded and walked off.

Nikolai looked at Nat. "So, what should we do to pass the time?"

'Talk, I guess,' Natsuki said. 'What do people do on dates?'

"I dunno." Nik said, chuckling. "The only ones I've witnessed are from movies."

'Me too,' Natsuki chuckled. 'Xiao used to make me watch some when he got his first boyfriend. He said it didn't help him much because he didn't date girls.'
