His mother frowned. 'Why- Wha-' she stuttered, a confused and slightly hurt expression crossed her face, but was quickly overtook by a glare. 'Fine then.'

Nikolai slowly walked off, not wanting to talk anymore. He knew it’d just be awkward and quiet.

His mother looked like she would explode in rage, but she didn't and returned to her cooking.
Natsuki figured it was getting late, so she started walking home. -
Nikolai laid down on his bed, trying to think about everything that’d happened in the last few days.

It was late, so there wasn't much of a crowd to dodge to get home. Natsuki soon got to the house.

Terry was in the other room, and heard the door open and shut when Nat went inside.
"Where'd you go?" He asked, not sure if he was comfortable with the idea of Natsuki alone in the city. -
Nat blinked, unsure of how to answer when it wasn't a yes-no question.

"Can you write it?" Terry asked, pulling out a piece of paper and a pen.

Nat took the paper and pen and wrote, 'park' on it in a large font, then gave it back to Terry.

Terry saw it and smiled. "Oh, ok! That's not too far from here. Did you meet anyone there?"

Natsuki nodded once.

"Were they nice?" Terry pressed, sitting down.

Nat nodded and sat down opposite him, figuring this would take a while.

"That's good, who were they?" Terry asked, handing Nat the paper again.

A small frown creased on Nat's forehead, but she wrote down the two's names: "Daniel and Eve."
