Oberon reached out just in time, catching her in his arms right before she hit the ground. "Are you okay, Akari?" He asked, looking in her eyes, concerned.

Akari's cheeks flushed a little. 'Yeah, I'm fine.'

"You sure? You're really red." He asks again, his concern for her growing.

'I am?' Akari asked, a little embarrassed.

"Yea. Like, really red." Oberon says.

'Oh,' she said quietly.

'I'm fine. My face just feels hot and I've got metaphorical butterflies in my stomach,' she added, rambling a little. -

Oberon picked her up, hold her in his arms bridal style, carrying her the rest of the way to the house. -

Akari squealed a little in surprise when he picked her up, and she held onto his neck instinctively, not wanting to be dropped. -
Oberon smiled. "I'm not going to drop you, Akari. I promise." He said, and soon enough the were at the door, and he set her back down on her feet.

Akari gave a sheepish smile. 'Just making sure,' she said.
