Akari flushed red, and she looked from Oberon to the chief in fear as she awaited his decision. She didn't want to have to leave, but she didn't have a choice.

"You... What?" The chief gaped. "I love her." Oberon confirmed. "oh.. Now this is difficult..." The chief stares at both of them. "Then... I guess you must stay... You will be carefully watched, however."

Akari let out a breath she hadn't realised she'd been holding in relief.

His father stalked away, fuming. Oberon hugged Akari to him. "Are you okay?"

Akari leaned into him, resting her head on his chest. 'Yeah,' she said softly, still a little tense. 'Are you?'

"Yes." Oberon said, running his fingers through her beautiful hair. in the excitement, Rhugien and the girls slipped away.

'Good,' she said, letting out a long exhale.

"I think we'll be fine. In the meantime.. We still need to get you some stuff so you're comfortable, right? Clothes, another bed, things like that?"

'Alright,' Akari agreed. 'Yeah, let's do that.' Any distraction from what had just happened, Akari decided, would be good.

She didn't pull away, though. It was calming, at the least, to be close to him. -

He hugged her closer. "It's okay, love. I'm not going to let him kick us out."

Akari smiled, blushing a little. 'Thank you.'

"Come on, let's go get that stuff." He leads her towards the cave center, where the shops are.

She followed him through the small village. It was later in the night, so the crowds were smaller, but she still had to dodge around elves to stay close and avoid getting lost.
