'No, it's OK,' Akari said with a small laugh. 'The flowers aren't too exotic as the ones you have here. There isn't too much undisturbed land anymore, at least not that I've seen.'

"Oh..." Lyra pouts slightly. "Lyra wishes to see the outside world one day, even though everyone is against it." Cecelia quietly explains. "There's not many of those elves anymore, who want to go out."

Akari glanced at Oberon, raising her eyebrows then back at Cecelia.
'That's a shame,' she said, unsure if it would be respectful to invite Oberon's friends to see a world they weren't allowed to. 'There's nothing much to see, a few trees and some wild dandelions are the most fascinating things you'll find.' -
"What are dandelions?" Lyra stumbled over the foreign word. "A flower, Lyra. Don't you remember from History of Plants at school?" Cecelia said, steering away from the other two. "thanks for introducing us, Oberon! Also, have you seen Karentina recently?" She asked him. "Nope. Still no word." He answered as they walked away.

Akari smiled as the two elves left. 'They seem nice,' she said to Oberon. 'Who's Karentina?'

"Their best friend, almost like a sister. She went out with a group into the upper world a few months back to see if it was safe at all, and the whole group hasn't returned."

'Huh,' Akari said, her thinking face on. 'It's almost like- Nevermind, could you introduce me to more of your friends?'

"Hm... Oh, Rhugien!" He called, and a male came over. "This is Akari." Oberon gestured to her. "Hello, madam. How are you this fine evening?" Rhugien asked her.

'Evening?' Akari asked, glancing up at the sky. Or rather, the dirt roof. 'Oh. I'm good, thank you. You?' she said, glancing back to Rhugien.

"Pretty good. also, you're probably wondering how we know what time it is. From how long we've lived down here, it's hardwired into our brains." Rhugien explained.

'That's pretty cool,' Akari said, raising her eyebrows in interest.

"Yep!" Rhugien says. Another elf called to Rhugien, and he sauntered away. "Hey... Do you want to see some more magic?" Oberon asks after a few minutes.

Akari looked at him. 'Yes please!' she said, an excited smile on her face.

"Come on, let's go somewhere else. They get attracted to shows of magic, like entertainment." Oberon said, gesturing for her to follow him a bit away, to a corner of the cave where the ceiling was much lower. "So, what kind of magic do you want to see?"

Akari followed him and leaned against the cave wall. 'Anything. What is there to see?'
