"What...?" The kid looks over at Bakugo confused, "I didn't steal anything..."

"then what did we here?" mina asked

"You heard me running away from some tracker dogs that have been sent after me with rabies." The kid answers bluntly.

bakugo was stunned "im sorry about him" mina said

"Nah, it's alright, trust me, I've dealt with much worse." The kid smiles reassuringly, but there is truth to the child's words.

mina felt bad for the kid "have fun kid" mina said as bakugo storms off mumbling

"Fun?? Wha-" The kid looks at them, then down at their own appearance, which is beaten and bruised, covered with dried blood and dirt from living on the streets for weeks. The remaining restraints on the child's body is weighing them down.

"hey kid need some food" sero asks

As if to answer Sero's question, the kid's stomach growls like a starved beast within the child's intestines.

"waite here kid kiri get bakugo and ill get the food"
sero and kiri walk away in diffrent directions "whats youre name im Mina Ashido" mina said -
"Marlowe Toffin." The kid answers, fiddling with the metal collar around their neck with a broken chain attached to it.

mina looks at the chain "is everything ok Marlowe?" -
(Yeah, my character has gone through some serious stuff. 🖐🏻😔)
"To be honest, not really." Marlowe answers sheepishly, as they shift from one foot onto the other, the broken chains around their ankles clacking loudly against each other. -
mina runs and hugs them "here let me get these off" slowly takes the chains off with her quirk

Marlowe breathes in deeply, "Finally, I can move properly and BREATHE." Marlowe sighs in relief.
