"he likes to lump me in with Colton here. i'm not an idiot, but he is." Alina elbows Colton, who looks at her, bewildered. Blaze smiles a little.

So they ate lunch together and afterwards went to their classes which passed like a blur.

Blaze walked back to his locker after the last couple classes, lost in thought. when he opened his locker, he noticed the folded piece of paper sitting on top of his books. "what the...?" he exclaims, picking it up and reading it. Blaze, i like you, could you please meet me at the school entrance after school He looked around, bewildered, then hesitantly went to the front school entrance, waiting for the person who had written the note. little did he know, Alina and Colton were hiding near, waiting to watch just in case.

Claire came back to her locker at the end of the day. When she opened it a piece of paper fluttered out. Curious, she picked it up and looked at what it was. Reading it, she was shocked. Her mind immediately went to Blaze. But it couldn't be him, right? There was no way. But if it was...she couldn't pass up the possibility. She couldn't pass up on that hope.
She made her way to the entrance, nervous tingles running across her body in anticipation for the best or the worst.
She made it to the entrance. There was only one person there. She stood there, absolutely stunned, not believing who stood there in front of her, not believing it could actually be true. -
Blaze locks eyes with Claire, disbelief plain across his face. "uh... hi?" he says hesitantly.

"I...I got your note," Claire hesitantly said, holding the paper in front of her.

"Note...?" Blaze questions. "I didn't send a note. You sent me a note!" He says, holding up his note. "The note said you liked me and wanted to meet me out here."

Claire shook her head, looking at him in confusion. Then she realized what happened. "Someone else wrote them. It - It was a prank, wasn't it."
Claire felt her heart slowly breaking apart. She took a single step away from him. It was a prank. It was false. Her hopes were crushed as she realized he didn't really like her.
Who would do this? Had they really wanted to hurt her this badly they'd make her think Blaze actually liked her that way? -
"Maybe it was..." Blaze takes a step towards her. "But... If your note says the same thing mine does, it wasn't wrong." He says, his face turning red. "I do like you, Claire Summers."

Claire blinked in shock. "You - you do?" she asked, unable to believe it was actually true.

"Yes, i do." Blaze nods, rubbing the back of his neck.

Claire was filled with a sudden thrill of joy. She rushed over to him and wrapped her arms around him in a tight hug. "I do too," she said.

Blaze tensed up for a moment, the wrapped his arms around Claire. "I like you alot, Claire. You make me want to change myself so i'm a better person." He says, grinning uncontrollably.

Suddenly a "YES!" sounded from behind the corner of one of the walls. Claire turned her head to see Emma peeking out from behind it.
"Let me guess," Claire said with a chuckle. "This was your idea?" -
Alina walked over from behind a couple bushes to beside Emma, crossing her arms and smirking at Blaze. "Mine too." She says, holding up a hand for a high five from Emma.
