I'm changing the guy's eyes from yellow to milky white, but he's not actually blind hoho))
Dusty. Bleak. Dull. These were the words you'd use to describe the place Jaime was currently in. It seemed to be underground, its walls cracked and chipped from the wear and tear of time. Scratches, made with human fingernails, could be vaguely seen. A dim light feebly flickered in the middle of the room, just above the foldable chair that he was currently bound to. However, Jaime could see none of this due to the blindfold blocking his vision.
Footsteps approached, breaking the silence that had shrouded the room. The metal door opened slowly with a drawn out creak. Finally, it slammed shut. There was another person in the room, another presence. The newcomer reached out and removed the blindfold, dropping it on the floor.
"Now you can see me," his voice purred. "Aren't you a pretty little thing? It's a shame that we had to break you."
The stranger's pale fingers caressed the bruises on Jaime's face, tilting his chin up to force him to make eye contact. "I would've been gentler with you." -
Maybe milky white eyes, silvery hair? For a sort of cold look))
-
Jaime jerked his head away from the man's fingers. "Sure you would have," Jaime rolled his green eyes with a glare. His voice was hoarse from lack of hydration but he continued speaking. "As gentle as you were with the girl I saw you torturing?"
-
The stranger smiled widely, his voice quiet. His milky white eyes gave him the impression of being blind at first, but they searched Jaime's face. "You have a good eye. I like your eyes...so green. Unusually so. I'd just like to pluck them right out and keep them. You wouldn't mind, would you?"
-
"Actually I would," Jaime said, his glare intensifying. This man was absolutely mad! He'd have to try and play along and try to come out with the least damage possible. "I hope you understand, my eyes are rather important to me."
-
"More of an extravagance, really," the man laughed, his eyes filled with a deranged amusement. "Do you see my eyes? The gods asked me for a sacrifice, so I obliged them. Now I can see everything. Even your little heartbeat. You would make a fine addition to our lovely little family."
-
"I'll pass," Jaime said, unsure of what he meant by "lovely little family," but he was sure it wasn't anything good.
-
"I didn't say it was an option, Jaime," the man said, his voice suddenly sharp and cold. Suddenly the smile returned and the air was friendly once more. "Although in a way, it is. You join me and my family or you join that girl you saw earlier. Can you guess where she is now?"
-
Jaime clenched his jaw. He didn't have much of a choice, really needed to do what he could to survive. "Fine. I'll join you and your little "family."
