"either we're going to beat whoever the evil is this time and live a long and happy life, or we're going to die trying." Willow says, shrugging.

"You do realize there is more than one evil, right?" Paxton open's one of his eyes, looking over at Willow.

"yea, i know. i'm meaning the one behind it all. the big bad evil." Willow says, looking at Paxton.

Paxton nods, "Personally, I hope we don't die...but that's just me."

Willow thinks for a second. "promise me something. promise me that we'll be there for each other at all times, no matter what." she says, all serious.

Paxton opens both of his eyes, fully. Peering at Willow. "I promise, but will you do the same for me?"

"of course." Willow says, grinning again.

Paxton gives Willow a lazy smile, "Glad to hear it." He says in a soft, low voice.

Willow blushes slightly. she clears her throat and pulls a book out of her bag, opening it and pretending to read it.

Paxton takes a spell book out of his bag, and practices a few spells of some random objects he found.

Willow's eyes droop, then slowly close. she falls asleep on the cushion, exhausted.

Paxton sees Willow sleeping on the cushion. Not wanting to wake her up, he grabs a blanket to cover her and stuffs a pillow underneath her head. "G'night Willow. Sweet dreams." He gives her a quick peck on the forehead and rolls off to his dorm to get some sleep himself.

-the next day-
Willow wakes up, looking around, then realizes she is on the cushion still, with a blanket and pillow she doesn't remember getting. She sits up, in a daze, trying to figure out what happened. -
Paxton was already up, in the common rooms, waiting for Willow to wake up. "Oh hey, sleepyhead!"

Willow looks at Paxton, still very confused. "how did i get out here...?" she mumbles, pointing to the cushion.
