she looks at him again, startled as she forgot he was there. "it's the Muggle's form of paranormal. they have such silly ideas about some of the creatures in the magical world, it's interesting!" she explains, smiling.

Paxton, being a halfblood, perks an eyebrow, giving Willow a half grin. "Oh? How so?"

"unicorns, for example. the muggles think that they're mostly born white and grow up white, but in reality, they're born gold and turn silver as they grow." she says, closing the book and setting it down. "and in the book i'm reading, Twilight, the vampires don't burn in sunlight, they sparkle. the werewolves can shift at anytime." she picks up another bagel, smearing cream cheese on it.

Paxton chuckles, "So, uhm, little known fact about me, I'm a Halfblood. And I can confirm, all of this is true."

The bell rings, signalling for all students to go to class. She looks at her schedule. 'Half of Hufflepuff and half of Slytherin first years go to Herbology, with Professor Longbottom.'
(Yes, Neville Longbottom takes the place of herbology professor in canon) -
dimond and tabitha go to Professor Longbottom

Paxton gets up, holding a hand out to Willow, "May I walk you to class?" He asks, with a smile. -
She stands, taking his hand and smiling warmly. "Why, yes, thank you." She says. "What do you have for your first class?" She questions, curious.

"Herbology with Professor Longbottom, you?" Paxton nibbles on his biscuit, giving Willow a curious look.

"Same! It's really cool how we have one of the Wizards that defeated Voldemort as one of the Professors here!" She says, getting excited. "I've read about all of the people who helped, and i especially looked into Hermione Granger. She's my Idol!"
