Todoroki's hand brushes against Masako's fingers. He looks at Masako, as if to ask if he could hold her hand.

Masako smiles, reaching out and taking his hand in hers.

A soft blub noise comes from behind Todoroki and Masako.

Masako looks over her shoulder. "is that Wade?"

Water blob Wade popped out. "Yeah! It's me! I just wanted to check on you two...since y'all are lagging behind from the others." He points at the rest who are a block ahead of them.

"i guess we should pick up the pace...?" Masako asks Todoroki.

Todoroki nods, pulling Masako along.

"i think we can slow down now!" Masako exclaims once they caught up with the others.

Todoroki slows down, going a nice pace. Not too slow to be lagging behind, not so fast to be going ahead.

Masako searches for a conversation starter, not wanting to stay in the silence.

Wade is in his little water blob form, resting on Masako's shoulder. "Bring up a fond childhood memory you two had together." He whispers to her.

"hey, remember when we had that big fight over how to pronounce a word? what was that word... peninsula or something? then we went to our moms to ask how it was pronounced and it turned out you were right?" Masako says, smiling.

"Oh yeah, I remember that. Remember when we were playing in my dad's study, then ending up wrecking the place afterwards? When he found out, he was so angry!" Todoroki chuckles.

Masako laughs as well. "oh, god. remember when we were playing tag and i ran into that lamp and it shattered?" She says.

"R.I.P the lamp. Those were some good times." Todoroki sighs with a small grin on his face.
