When the smoke clears, both Bakugo and Wakumi are on opposite sides of the field, beaten, bruised and bloody. They're huffing. Wakumi laughs, "You think this is all a game, Bakugo? Well then, let's play~" Wakumi goes in her full water form, making duplicate versions of herself, running circles around Bakugo.
Todoroki's eyes widened with surprise. "Impressive..." -
"Woah, Wakumi. nice trick." Masako says, nodding in approvement.

Bakugo makes another explosion, going both ways. Only one of them dodged. "Come here and fight me, coward!" Bakugo aims and fires. Wakumi gets blown back, hitting her head hard on the ground. Bakugo approaches looking down at her. "Just...finish me off! I know when I'm going to lose, and this is it." Wakumi yells, rubbing her head, slowly getting back up. "But I won't stop fighting, even if you blow me to bits."

Masako realizes she will probably need a battle plan for when she goes up, so she starts thinking quickly.

Wakumi's legs were wobbling. She collapses back to the ground. She puts a hand to her head, and groans. "Ugh...crap. Used too much of my quirk already..."
"Just surrender, Newt. You can't go on in this state. Plus, this just pitiful to watch." Bakugo's harsh voice was low, and a tinge softer. Still condescending, though.
"No! I've come this far, I won't back down now!" Wakumi forms multiple humongous water spheres that come pummeling down on Bakugo, getting forced down on his knee. It was incredibly cold. He shivers. Then Wakumi faints. -
"Is she okay?" Masako asks, worried.

"I'm sure Ena will be fine, I hope..." Kirishima, who was nearby, hearing Masako's concern. "She's strong, she'll be okay."

"hopefully." Masako repeats.

"And this round goes to... Katsuki Bakugo!" Present Mic announces. The assistance bots picks up Wakumi, carrying her away on a cot. Bakugo walks back up to the stands, soaking wet.

"good job, Bakugo." Masako says.

Bakugo shakes himself like a dog, getting the water off him. He sits down behind Masako, not replying back. His face was still permanently angry looking, but a hint of concern was in his eyes.

"angry pomeranian..." Masako mutters under her breath as she waits for the next battle to be announced.

Bakugo would normally yell at Masako for bring up the Angry Pomeranian nickname, but he was too lost in thought to care. (BRO HE'S WORRIED ABOUT WAKUMI. That's a rare sight to see-) The next one up is Masako and Todoroki.

Masako flushes red as she walks down to the field, and poises her pencil over her sketchbook, ready.

Wade was still there, sitting in Wakumi's spot. "WOO! GO MASAKO!!"
