"Yo, what's up with the waiter?"
Garret asked, in a casual tone. -
Eudora continued tapping, picking up a rhythm and sticking to it. A bit distracted, she said, “Seems nice. A bit messy. But seems nice.”

"Uh," Garret began, "I guess I've been doing good."

The server comes back around, placing down each of the customers' orders in front of them. "Bon Appetit!" she grins at them, then gracefully turns on her heel to check on some other customers. A few minutes later, You could hear someone yelling loudly. Craning your neck to see, you're shocked to see your server scared stiff while a Karen is screaming her head off at her, saying that Olive, the server, that she completely screwed up her order and that the pastry tasted like complete and utter trash. The Karen throws the hot drink on Olive, and she flinches from the burning sensation on her skin through her clothes. It hurts, she's trying to hold it all together but she's seemingly at the verge of tears, clenching her fists until it becomes a fleshy white, her nails digging deep into her palms, drawing some blood.

Anastasia hisses at the sight, her normally purple eyes turning black. "How rude of that woman! She did nothing to deserve that!"

"y'all mind if I beat the s--- outta that woman?"
One might've assumed Garret was joking, but he wasn't. Garret has a lot of respect for Waiter/Waitresses, given he was one for a long time. He has no respect for people who mistreat them. -
Olive peers over at her fellow coworkers for back up, to come to her defense, but none of them even batted an eye. She looks down at her feet, lip quivering. Feeling helpless, she slowly backs away from the raging woman. The Karen notices and snaps at her, "HEY! DON'T YOU BACK AWAY FROM ME-" the woman grabs Olive's wrist, harshly twisting it. Olive stares into the eyes of a livid lady, looking like a deer caught in the headlights. Olive is trying pull away. "You get me that refund, you understand me?!" The Karen tightens her grip and Olive grits her teeth. "M-ma'am please l-let go-" That was the last straw for The Karen and slapped Olive across the face. Olive yelps, being pushed back by the woman. "HOW DARE YOU TALK BACK TO ME?!?!"

Anastasia jumps to her feet, rage dancing in her eyes. "Let go of her, right this instant! She did nothing to deserve this!!"

If anyone answered Garret, he didn't hear it.
He sprung up and delivered a heavy Right-Hook to the Karen's face. He then grabbed her by the collar of her shirt, and in her face, said,
"You must REALLY want to meet god. You think you can mistreat people like this? NO. You know what you will do? You will compensate this woman accordingly for the damage you have done and NEVER COME BACK. If I see your face anywhere near this establishment, I WILL BREAK YOUR SPINE."
He was dead serious. Garret isn't known for empty threats. -
He threw her to the ground after his statement.

Olive is straight up shaking now, full of many mixed feelings. One of them was the fear of being sued or fired for this situation, while another is just pure relief that the cruel abuse by that horrid woman is over...for now. Slowly, she got back up onto her feet and makes her way over to Garrett and Anastasia. "T-thank you s-so much. How could I ever repay your generosity?" Olive asks, her hands clasped together, looking upon the two with gratitude.

"You don't need to, pal. I've had to deal with crazy b----es in the past. This one wasn't even the worst,"
He looked around as he spoke.
"If anyone's liable to get sued, it's me, considering what I just did. If she did try to sue you, don't worry. I know some pretty good Lawyers. And unless your manager's one of... those types, you shouldn't be worried about being fired." -
"Nothing at all." Anastasia said quietly. "I don't like people who abuse others."

Olive shakes her hands. "NONONONO- My manager is fine. It's my boss we'd have to worry about." Olive whispers into Garrett's ear. "He's a ruthless jerk. But you didn't hear that from me."

Olive looks at Anastasia and nods, "Ayyy same, I don't like people who abuse people either, especially if that person is me. Looks like we have something in common there." she says jokingly but is actually serious about that though.
