Devin giggled. "I love you so much, baby girl. You mean so much to me."

"Of course, baby. Do you feel any better?" Devin asked, referring to the demon.

"Yep! So much better!" Sakura said smiling once more.

Devin laughed. "Do you want to stay here or head home?" He asked, his voice soft and sweet.

"Home." She said holding his hand tightly wiping her tears away.

Devin nodded, smiling gently. "Let's go. I can make dinner for you baby, if you want."

"Yes please." Sakura said forcing a smile.

"Hey, don't force a smile. Tell me what's wrong." He whispered, brushing her hair back.

"I just miss my brother. That's all. Nothing to cry over." Sakura said forcing a laugh.

Devin shook his head. "It doesn't hurt to cry. And losing your brother probably hurt. Just as much as loosing my mother did.

Sakura wiped her tears again and gave him a real smile that time. "Thanks."

Devin smiled, before scooping her up in his arms, kissing her, then heading home.
