Devin nodded. "I am too! I never thought anyone wanted me. I - I don't want to ever leave though..." They flapped their wings and sighed. "Sometimes I feel so unwanted." He mumbled sadly.

"Aw...." Sakura said looking at him. "Don't cry. You always have my family!"

Devin nodded, wiping his tears away. He finished his cake and sighed. "Is it ... wrong if I ask for a hug? I just ... I feel like I can trust you." He said, their blood red eyes glowing brightly.

"Go ahead." Sakura said opening her arms. "I don't mind."

Devin moved forward, giving her a tight hug. "Thank you!" They cried, starting to purr again. "I don't know why but I'm happier with you... Almost normal." He purred happily.

Devin purred rapidly and fiercely. "I want to protect you." They mumbled, their purr breaking up their words. -
Sakura smiled. "Good wolf demon." She said. She put on the song Stereo Hearts. "I will protect you too."

A shiver ran down Devin's spine when she called him that. They hid their face in her neck and tried to contain themself.

"I love you. Never forget that. Ok?" Sakura said petting his head. "And I'm sorry for calling you a wolf demon."

"Okay." He raised his head a bit, bumped her hand with their head and smiled at her. "I actually like being called that! Especially by you." They purred more aggressively, their tail thumping the bed hard.

"Aw..... Cue little wolf demon." Sakura said. Kero looked at the two. "You both have became very close. Maybe you should ask him out Sakura." He said. Sakura gave Kero a death glare.

Devin purred. "You think I'm cute?" Something inside his head told him to fight her, attack her, but the side of him that was still human, normal, told him to be good. Trust her, tell her someday that they loved her.
