Devin whined, tail tucked between his legs and ears flat against their head. They weren't purring as he usually did, when he slept with, or near, Sakura.

Sakura petted his head. "I love you."

Devin sighed quietly and rolled off of her. They pawed weakly at the the bed, whining a little. "S-ssa-aki??"

Sakura got up and picked him up. "My precious wolf demon."

Devin opened his eyes a little, still asleep. "Wha- what?" They mumbled, their eyes closing again.

Sakura gave him a soft smile. "Shhhhhh. It's ok."

Devin sighed, happily this time and started to purr. Their tail wagged and he nuzzled into Sakura's neck.

Sakura laughed quietly. "Good boy."

They purred happily, repeating Sakura's words in their sleep. "Good boy, good boy. I'm good boy, good boy."

Sakura smiled and kissed his head. "A very good boy."

"Good boy!!" Devin purred, tail wagging more. "I'm good boy, very good boy!!" The way he was saying was childish, buy happy.

Sakura smiled. But she wanted food. She sighed and put him down.

Devin whined a little but rolled over. They kept mumbling about being a good boy and their tail wouldn't stop wagging.

Sakura tried to ask for food. But she was unsuccessful of doing so.

Devin started to wake up, whining a bit as he realized Sakura wasn't there. But something had changed. One eye was a bright blue while the other was a blood red.
