Quackity still didn't stop singing. He shook his head, his smile fading as tears pricked his eyes.
Karl frowned. "Hey, tell us."
"Well, I have someone who can beat you!" George cried playfully. -
“Shh, shh,” Sapnap gently pressed a finger to Quackity’s mind. “Stop singing for a minute, please.”
“And who is that?” Dream said back. -
Quackity shook his head, trying to smile again.
Karl nodded. "Yes, love, please. Talk to us."
"Techno!" George said dramatically, sitting on his knees and pulling his hand away to tap Dream's nose. -
Sapnap pressed a kiss onto Quackity’s lips to try and quiet him. “Honey, please. You’re not okay.”
Dream frowned for a split second before smiling again and sitting up. “I could beat him.” -
Quackity shook his head again, finally quiet. He blinked rapidly, wiping his face.
Karl frowned. "Sweetheart, what's bothering you?"
George raised his eyebrows. "Oh really?" He asked gently, smirking at the fact that his hand was free. "And I get to do this!" He cried, starting to tickle Dream's side. -
“Was it the song?” Sapnap whispered. “Does singing remind you of something?”
“Ah! No!” Dream yelled, laughing as he tried to move his side away and push George’s hand away and letting go of his other hand in the process. -
Quackity bodded, sniffling.
"Do you wanna talk love?" Karl asked softly.
George giggles, trying to sit on Dream's legs to hold him down. "Noo!! I must finish my mission!!!" He cried, tickling Dream still. -
“You don’t have to if you don’t feel comfortable, but we’re here if you do,” Sapnap said gently.
“No! George you’ll pay for this!” Dream tried to contain his laugher, trying to move away. -
Quackity nodded again, shivering. "Just it hurts to sing. The last time I sang was after I lost you. I sang that same song. I was hurt. I tried not to cry, but it hurts to think about."
Karl nodded. "Sweetie, we're here now."
George giggled. "Will I?" He leaned down to kiss Dream, hands on his fiancé's sides. "I don't think I will." -
“Love, Im so sorry,” Sapnap said gently. “It’s okay to cry about that, But we’re here now, okay? We’re never leaving.”
Dream got a little confused at what George was doing, placing his hands over his finances. “Yes! You will!” -
Quackity nodded, wiping his face. "I cry too much. That's part of the reason why I wasn't answering or stopping."
"You can never cry to much." Karl said softly. "You cry when you need to."
"How will I?" George asked, smiling. He sat back, pulling one of his hands out from under Dream's and resting it on his chest. -
“Yeah, crying is a human reaction,” Sapnap said. “It’s okay to cry.”
“I-“ Dream stopped, blushing. “Um- well, yo- well-“ -
Quackity nodded. "I know that, but I have made it a point all my life to hide my emotions."
Karl frowned. "You don't need to anymore. You're able to show what you feel with us."
George smiled. "What? Don't know how I'm gonna pay?" He smiled, dragging his hand up and tapping Dream's nose before tracing his features. -
“I get it might be hard to get out of that, too, but
there’s no need to hide any emotions around us, okay?”
Dream scrunched his nose, forgetting in the moment what George was even paying for, thoughts running ramped in his mind. -
(I just f---ed things up. I may have to leave.)
