“I say we should leave in the morning,” Skeppy said.
-
Gold nodded. "I wanna talk to Lem as soon as I can, but I don't feel like taking the risk of monsters tonight." Hr chewed nervously on his lip. "But - what are we even gonna do when we get to Kinoko? For I all know, xey might not even want to talk to me..."
Bad frowned. "Well, I doubt that. Do you know where xey would stay in Kinoko? We can just go see xem, youcan talk to xem, and we can either go home, or stay the night, if it's dark." -
“Yeah, where would xey stay?” Skeppy asked.
-
Gold shrugged. "In Las Nevadas and El Rapids, xey always stayed in the palace, closest to Quackity. But in Kinoko, I have no clue. Xey could be in the palace, or xey could be somewhere else. I'd have to ask Quackity. Which would mean the castle..." He snorted and sighed, carefully putting the steak in the pan and seasoning it.
Bad nodded. "So no matter what, we have to go to the castle. That's settled, I guess. Anything else that needs to be settled? I'm sure we could get horses or something." -
“Yeah getting horses would probably be smart,” Skeppy agreed.
-
Gold nodded. "Okay. We can do that. I- It's okay as it is. I can rent horses or something and we can go over in the morning." He bit his lip and squeezed his eyes shut, trying to keep himself from breaking down.
Bad frowned, gently going over to Gold and hugging him. "I'm sure it'll be okay. I promise it will be." -
“Yeah, and Lem will forgive you, I just know it,” Skeppy said.
-
Gold nodded, squeezing Bad tightly. "O-okay. I just d-don't want to lose xem! Xey've always been there!" He rubbed his eyes, sniffling a little. "Just like you guys..."
Bad pulled Gold as close as possible, holding him tight. "Xey love you, I can tell. Xey always have. I think xey'd die for you, Gold." He said softly, rubbing his hand in a small circle on Gold's back. -
“Yeah, seriously,” Skeppy said with a nod.
-
Gold nodded, calming down a little. He squeezed Bad one more time before he backed out of the hug and flipped the steak. "Okay..."
Bad smiled softly, going over to SKeppy and hugging him. "You work miracles with him, Zak. Thank you." -
“You too,” Skeppy said with a smile, hugging Bad back.
-
Bad smiled. "You manage to snap him out of bad moods. I don't think I was ever able to do that. O can usually just comfort him."
-
“It’s a team effort,” Skeppy said with a smile.
-
Bad nodded. "It always is." He gently kissed Skeppy's forehead, sighing. "I've gotta finish the rolls. You help with the corn. It's not that hard."
Gold hummed softly, sighing quietly. -
“Alright,” Skeppy said with a nod, looking over to Gold. “So, how do we do the corn?”
