"Yeah, you'll be fine, I promise," Skeppy said. "Everything is okay."

Gold cracked a smile. "You mean, you would beg Dream to revive me." He said to Lem. "And I know. Because you two would protect me, right?" The hybrid asked, looking up at Skeppy and Bad.
Bad nodded. "Of course I would. I will always protect you." He said and smiled at Skeppy. "And you too Zak."
Lem laughed. "Yeah, beg Dream, sure." -
Skeppy smiled, pressing a kiss onto Gold's head. "Yeah."

Gold giggled a little, hiccuping after. "I love you, Dad and Skeppy. And you too, Lemon!!" He said, wiping his face and finishing the rest of the water. He put the glass of his eye and looked through it.
Bad smiled and laughed a little. "Love you too, Gold. What're you doing now?" He asked, laughing as the boy faked a familiar voice.
Lem laughed. "Damn, Gold!! You sound like Puffy! Pirate boy Gold?" Xey asked, tapping the glass over Gold's eye. -
Skeppy laughed, rolling his eyes playfully.

Gold laughed a little. "No. I'm no sheep. I'm no pirate, either. I'm a deer-wolf-demon-human thing. Wait, what?" He asked, suddenly confused. "What did I just say?"
Bad tilted his head. "Uh, deer, wolf, demon, human thing. Your species, correct?"
Lem rolled xeir eyes and grinned at Skeppy. "He's full of it now." Xey smiled. "You cheered him up, Skeppy." -
"That's good," Skeppy said quietly with a smile.

Gold tried to piece together what he said. "Uh, yeah. I think so. I'm confused. Let's let it go!" He said cheerfully, placing the glass on the table and hugging Skeppy. "I love you, Uncle Skeppy!"
Bad awed at the sight. "That's cute, Skeppy. So cute!"
Lem smiled and watched xeir boyfriend happily. -
Skeppy squeezed Gold. “I love you too.”

Gold squeaked and cuddled against Skeppy, rubbing his head under his uncle's chin. "Thank you. For everything!" He said happily.
Bad smiled and sat back a little. The way Gold was so open with Skeppy, and comfortable, was good. Especially since Gold still looked to him for advice, as he did Skeppy. -
“Of course,” Skeppy said with a smile.

Gold giggled and hesitated a little before lifting his head and giving Skeppy a quick kiss on his cheek. Then Gold blushed and his his face in Skeppy's shoulder.

Skeppy paused, laughing.

Gold blushed and lifted his head a little, looking at Skeppy. "Was that wrong?" He asked, meeting Skeppy's eyes.

“No, not at all,” Skeppy said.
