George smiled. “I love you too, Dream.” He thought about the day he first met Dream. Both of them were younger, and George never imagined being king. I guess that’s one of the many surprises in life... We just got to get used to them.

Dream slowed down his horse a little, so he was able to be next to George and reach out for his hand.

George blushed a little. “Hi, Dream.” He whispered, smiling softly. He slipped his hand in Dream’s and sighed happily.

“Hello,” Dream said with a smile. He squeezed George’s hand gently before letting go so their horses nip at each other.

George sighed again, pushing all the feelings of doubt away and finally getting his emotions under control. He stroked his horse’s neck and gazed fondly at Dream.

Dream didn’t notice, just focusing on the path ahead of him.

George thought about when Dream would leave. “He needs to go back eventually.” He whispered to himself. “Because that country isn’t going to run itself.” He continued to look at Dream, a happy smile on his face.

Dream didn't hear, just continuing on.

George pushed his horse forward a bit. He got as close to Dream as he could and smiled sweetly. He looked over at Dream and tried to see through the side of the mask.

Dream looked over, smiling back and waving a bit.

George giggled a bit, waving back. “I feel like I’m being too clingy and moody. Am I? Just tell me to stop… I will.” He said, his voice dropping to a whisper at the end of the sentence.

"No, not at all," Dream said, shaking his head a bit and frowning. "Are you okay?"

George shrugged. “To be completely honest, I’m not sure.for some reason I just feel off today.” He frowned thoughtfully and sighed. “I just… I just want you to hold me….” He mumbled, his sentence dropping off at the end.

Dream frowned, studying George for a minute. “ Well, when we get back I will do just that.”

George bit his lip, blushing in embarrassment. “Okay...” He mumbled, feeling kinda bad about being so clingy to Dream. He just didn’t want Dream to leave again. Not soon anyway.
