"Ouch, you suggested THAT!? I'm so offended." Clay said with a laugh.
Karl smirked and twisted out from under Nick, falling to the side. He fell to the floor and darted out of the room laughing. -
"Sorry, it was the first thing that came into my mind," George said with a laugh.
"HEY-" Nick said, walking after Karl. "Okay- we actually gotta start getting ready for George-" -
"Wow, me overdosing was the first thing that came to mind." Clay replied sarcastically.
"I know, I'm racing you to the other room!" Karl called -
"No-" George said, his face falling. "It just came out- you taking more of the meds was the first thing to come to mind, then I realized it was a lot so-" George paused, flinching.
Flight 107 from London to Orlando will be boarding in five minutes.
The announcement repeated itself, and George shuddered.
"But that's not fair, you got a head start!" Nick called, jogging to where he heard Karl's voice. -
Clay could hear the announcement as well. "Hey, you're going to be okay. I promise."
"HA-" Karl called a moment before tripping over his own feet. He tried to catch himself but ended up falling onto his side. "S***! OW-" -
"Yeah, okay," George said, glancing at the forming line. "I'm gonna go, then. I don't want to get in trouble or anything."
"Karl?" Nick called, running over to him. "Are you okay?" -
"O-Okay." Clay paused for a moment. "I'll be there when you get off, okay? I promise." Clay said encouragingly.
Karl fought tears as he lay on the ground. -
"Okay," George said with a nod. "My flight lands at like, eight, by the way."
Group 1 boarding now.
"Bye Dream, see you tomorrow."
Nick crouched down next to Karl, frowning. "Hey, what happened?" -
"Got it. Bye, Gogs. I can't wait" Clay said, excitement present in his voice.
Karl tried to sit up and lean against the wall. "I-I slipped." He replied, his voice breaking. -
"Bye-" George repeated, hanging up and grabbing his bag.
"Oh no," Nick said, helping Karl sit up. "What hurts?" -
Clay sighed and leaned his head back. He called for a nurse to see when he could be discharged.
"Everything," Karl said as a tear slipped down his cheek. "Everything." He sobbed and leaned his head against the wall. -
"Hey, c'mere," Nick said softly, wrapping his arms around his boyfriend.
-
Karl leaned into Nick and let himself fall apart. "Everything hurts." He meant more than his physical pain, he meant truly everything.
"It's not recommended, but you could leave now?" The nurse said uncertainly. "It's HIGHLY likely that you'll have to come back if you leave now, seeing as your stitches aren't quite the best."
Clay glanced at his wrists, and then back at the woman. "How about in like two hours?" -
"I'm sorry," Nick whispered.
George was now sitting in his seat in the plane.his heart racing. -
"I'm o-okay." Karl lied.
"Sure." The nurse said before walking out.
