"Bye Karl," George said, shrieking as Clay started to tickle him. "STOP-"
"Alright," Nick said, pausing as they reached the driver's side of Karl's car. "I'm trying to think of some movie quote that's a good farewell but I can't think of one off of the top of my head-" -
"NO-" Clay protested. He went for George's side.
Karl laughed and smiled at Nick. "I don't know any movie quotes, but I know some general ones?" -
"STOP-" George repeated with squeaky giggles, flinching away and darting for his room.
"Say 'em," Nick said with a smile, trying to keep a positive attitude for Karl. -
"NOT A CHANCE! GET BACK HERE GEOOOORGE!" Clay shouted as he jumped and followed George.
"Uhh...'The reason it hurts so much to separate is because our souls are connected.' That's Nicholas Sparks. OH! There's also 'It’s time to say goodbye, but I think goodbyes are sad and I’d much rather say hello. Hello to a new adventure'." Karl said happily. -
George shreiked, quickly turning and heading for the kitchen.
"Aw," Nick said with a smile. "I love those." -
Clay darted into the kitchen and stood in the doorway. "You're trapped now!"
"Me too!!" Karl smiled back and then glanced at the car. "I should go..." He said sadly. -
"NO-" George yelled, trying to keep as much distance between him and Clay.
"Yeah," Nick said, forcing back tears at this point. "But it's alright, we'll call." -
"YEP!! C'MERE, GEORGE!!" Clay rushed forward and wrapped one arm around his friend's waist and tickled him with his free hand.
Karl wrapped his arms around Nick's waist and pulled him close. He leaned in and kissed him passionately. -
George started laughing hysterically, trying to grab the hand tickling him. "Pl- please, stop-"
Nick kissed his back, reaching a hand up to cup Karl's cheek. -
"And why should I?" He asked playfully. He didn't stop, if anything he tickled him more. "Your laugh is adorable!"
After a moment Karl pulled away slightly. He whispered "I love you," against Nick's lips. -
"Sh- shut up!" George exclaimed, trying to smother his laughter.
Nick gave him another quick kiss before replying. "I love you too." -
Clay turned bright red, realizing what he'd said. He faltered for a moment, but pulled George down onto the floor. He held his friend in his lap and tickled him more.
Karl smiled softly and pulled away. He opened his car door and climbed inside. "Bye, Love." -
"Dream- stop!" George exclaimed.
"Bye," Nick said with a smile, silently cursing himself as his voice broke. -
"Ugh, fine-" Clay stopped tickling him, but he held his friend in place on the floor with him.
Karl's face fell and he gazed up at Nick with concern. "Are you okay?" He asked softly. -
George couldn't find the energy in him to argue, so he just leaned onto the blonde.
"Yeah," Nick said, nodding quickly. "I'm just- gonna miss you."
