Humans, elves, dwarves, orcs, Angel's, demons, vampires, werewolves...they all exist. Alongside many many others, some rarer than others- such as the griffon, minotaur, cyclops.
Even dragons, though for hundreds of years, none has been seen. They are often thought to have been made up, all think so except for the elves who were around long enough to have seen one themselves. What ever happened to them? No one really knows.
C1, ever since they were young, have dreamed of adventure. Having been stuck to their home for so long, and the world being ever so big. They wanted to see what it had to offer.
But, their wish to see the world may just have come with a downside as well. For one day, one ordinary day, their home was attacked by a dragon. Burning down the buildings, and cooking those that they knew to a crisp, leaving charred remains behind. They may have managed to survive that, but in the aftermath of the attack- they found that very few survived with them.
They made a vow to take revenge on the dragon that had attacked them, and went to the nearest city to join in the hunters guild. To get better, stronger, and one day hopefully kill the dragon.
C2 is a more veteran member of the guild, and have been a member ever since they could wield a sword. Working hard, they were well known. Having been the youngest to ever slay a griffon, surviving a fall as they brought it down to the ground from hundreds of feet in the air.
After the death of their old partner, they are assigned C1, the new recruit. Not sure if it's a good idea, thinking that C1 will hold them back. That C1, being new, would just end up getting themselves killed. But, with no other choice, they accept it. Even if they dont feel food about it, they want to ensure that C1 can survive..hoping that they'll see just how bad things can get, and leave the guild before it's too late.
