A lone Trico was resting in a clearing, its head resting on its paws with its eyes closed. It had been looking for nice things for Creator, because Creator was sad, and Creator shouldn't be sad. The beast made a quiet chuffing sound to itself in thought, trying to think of what to bring its Creator -
Veya ran through the woods, Magpie a distance away running behind her. She turned and saw the marbled fox playing with a butterfly and laughed, until the fox chased the butterfly away into the woods. “Magpie! We haven’t explored that section before! Careful, it might be dangerous!” She ran after the fox to be sure it was safe… but they both slowed as the approached a clearing. With and extremely large beast laying down in it.

The beasts ears twitched, hearing something, but it didn't move. It didn't sound like anything that could hurt it, so it would just continue resting

Magpie bounded over and nosed at the creature excitedly, while Veya approached with caution, careful to move so the beast couldn’t smell her based on the wind direction and couldn’t see her if it opened its eyes. Magpie, meanwhile, seemed eager enough to touch noses with it, like they… knew each other or something?

The creature blinked open its eyes and yawned, a little purple tongue visible in is beak, before shaking its head and looking down at the fox with a quiet chuff of greeting. The Trico didn't appear to have noticed Veya yet, and was focused on the fox. Maybe Creator would like small fox?

Veya noticed the creature was awake, didn’t think she’d have much time to run, and in the heat of the moment decided to carefully, so the creature hopefully wouldn’t notice, get onto the creatures feathers and fluff. That seemed safe.
Meanwhile Marble pawed at the creature and tried to get on as well but it seemed a tad high for the little fox to jump…
