Two pairs of childhood friends get accepted into an uber prestigious university for the talented, simply called the University of the Gifted and Talented, or UGT. They pairs sign up to be roommates together, but the form requests get mixed up thanks to a glitch in the school's computer operates system. Now, they're stuck together with the other's best friend for the rest of the year.

Miranda lugged her heavy suitcase into her dorm room. It was decorated with pins of all sorts, and she moved it beside one of the beds. "I hope Alicia gets here soon," she grumbled. -
Ami looked around. I hope she is here. she thought.
-
Miranda froze, staring at the blue haired girl that had just walked in. "Uh, hi? Can I help you...?"
-

"Hi." Ami said smiling.
-
Miranda sat down on her bed, tracing one of the flower patterns she'd stitched on her pants. "Are you lost? I mean, I can help you if you'd like."
-
She nodded. "No." She said softly.
-
Miranda blinked at the unfamiliar girl with a touch of confusion. "Oookay then. I'm sorry, but there's no way this is your room. You see, my friend Alicia and I are kinda going to be living here? She should be here any moment now."
-
"I think I passed by her." Ami said looking at the female Infront of her.
-
Miranda checked her slip of paper. "My paper says Room 405, and hers will probably have the same number," she said, mostly to herself. "What's taking her so long?"
