"So let me get this straight. You're like, like a heroine or whatever, fighting to keep the world safe, and you use, what, magic to transform into a cute outfit? Am I getting this right?"

Ami nodded. "Basically." She said.

Miranda silently hugged Mochi, staring at Ami. "Wow. Um, okay then. I'm kind of at a loss for words."

Ami gave an akward smile.

Miranda fiddled with a loose string on the sleeve of her purple shirt, not knowing what to say. "So what do you usually fight and stuff like that?"

"Yeah." Ami said clearly in awe.

Miranda stared blankly at Ami, sucking in a breath. "Alrighty then. So you usually fight "yeah"?"

Ami nodded. "Yes."

"I see," Miranda said slowly, picking up Mochi and patting his head. "I'm just gonna, um, go get some water."

Ami nodded as she let Miranda leave. Her phone rang. She held it up. "Hello?" She said as she heard a familiar voice. "Usagi what did you do to make Rei yell at you?" She asked.

Miranda began hyperventilating as soon as she left the room, rushing off to the bathroom and hiding in one of the stalls. Either she was crazy, Ami was crazy, or they were both crazy. The last option seemed the most realistic. She ran her hand through her hair, sighing heavily.

Ami looked blankly at her phone. "Usagi have you never learned to not make Rei angry?" Ami said sarcastically. Usagi said, "No....." Ami laughed.

Miranda buried her face in her hands, groaning and looking at Mochi. "Mochi, what did I do to deserve this craziness?" Mochi meowed in reply, touching his nose to hers.

"Listen Usagi ok. Don't make Rei angry. Now bye." Ami said putting her phone away.

Miranda splashed some water in her face, picking up Mochi and turning on her phone to call her friend. She explained everything to her, tapping her foot against the floor nervously.
"Yeah no, I'm roomies with some other girl for some reason. I tried contacting the head but the phone call wouldn't go through! Weird, huh?" the friend said.
