"Weeeeeelllllll, basically that dude is my demon friend. Honestly, what is wrong with him? I told him to stay undercover!" The girl with dark brown hair went on a rant, throwing her hands into the air as she went off about the strange dude.

While she was going off about the strange dude, Evelyn decided to sneak away.

"And then he ditched me at the Demon Fair! How rude was th- ayy, AYYY, what're you doing?!" The girl noticed Evelyn trying to make a sneaky getaway. "That’s not nice! I wasn't done ranting." The girl stamped one of her feet in frustration and let out a high-pitched growl.

Evelyn had absolutely no idea what she could do. She couldn't call the police,.she couldn't go to her house, what was she supposed to do?

"Ooh, I must look scary." The girl gasped. "Fear not, weird mortal! I'm not a big fan of sending humans to Hell! I'm just trying to experience Earth."

"Go experience it by yourself," Evelyn muttered.

"Excuse me? I wasn’t trying to ask you to help me experience Earth. I can do it myself, y'know.” The girl huffed, crossing her arms and sticking her nose up at Evelyn.

"Then stop being so clingy," Evelyn snapped.

The girl raised an eyebrow. "Clingy? You can walk away if you want. I was just trying to carry conversation. I might've even offered to help you out with the whole demon things."

"I've been trying to walk away," she muttered under her breath. But her ears perked up at the last part. "You would've?"

"Yeah? I dunno if I've mentioned this or not, but I've been yearning to crack my knuckles and give that stupid demon what's been coming to him." The girl cracked her knuckles and huffed, literal steam coming from her ears.

"What's the catch?" Evelyn said. There had to be some sort of catch.

"Nothing at all! It’s a win-win for both of us." The demon girl waved her hand and giggled.

Evelyn raised an eyebrow. "You promise?"

"Of course! Demons are known for keeping their promises. Even if they're very suspicious."
