(Nice lol)

Aiden was sitting on a park bench, looking out at the scenic view. He enjoyed visiting the human world sometimes- he just had to make sure that he put on his disguise, which is really just temporarily deleting his aura from around his body. His eyes, he couldn't change. So he just had to hope that no one noticed them.
-
(Or hope that they think you're wearing contacts)
Emily was rollerskating for the first time. She, frankly, was not very good at it. She also wasn't wearing any padding or a helmet.
Emily thought she had it down, so she was gliding down the sidewalk in the park.
She was nearing a park bench holding a black-haired man. That was where the sidewalk stopped, allowing for people to look at the view.
Except the problem was she didn't know how to stop. She knew those things on the front of the skates were supposed to do something, but she didn't really want to go on her tiptoes and probably fall over.
Emily crashed into the metal bench. "Oww" she groaned -
(Actually could I change my character sheet?
Her name's Katherine, and she has wavy auburn hair) -
(oh you're right)
(And ok sure)
Aiden felt a thud and turned to see a girl who had crashed into the bench he was sitting on. He cringed. Not wanting to draw attention to himself by accidentally having the girl see his eyes, Aiden tried his best not to notice the girl and continued to watch the view. -
(He shouldn't really care if she sees his eyes or not. He's a demon, he takes joy in other people's misfortune)
"Agh sorry," Katherine said, standing up and brushing herself off. Looks like she scraped her knee. Oh well. She'd fix it when she got home. "I've never really skated before." -
(Ik I was just thinking about how he may not want to draw attention to himself but idk)
"Don't be," Aiden said in a low voice. -
For some reason the man's voice sent chills through her body. She quickly tried to shake it off. "I'm Katherine," she said, holding out her hand.
-
Aiden hesitantly extended his hand to shake hers. His hand was stiff and still.
-
"Is something - " But before Katherine could finish her sentence her skates started moving without her willing them too. She jerked and her legs went flying, trying to regain her balance.
Katherine fell on the ground. "I. Am. Taking. These. Off," she said as she unlaced her skates and struggled in pulling them off her feet. -
Aiden chuckled, his laugh deep and almost dark. "Your first time skating?" He asked.
-
"Uh yeah," she said, her voice shifting as she yanked her other skate off. For some reason, he unsettled her, but she tried her best to at least seem cordial. "I don't think I got your name?"
-
He hesitantly spoke. "Aiden," he said. "Just Aiden."
-
She nodded. "Nice to meet you." Katherine's phone buzzed. She reached into her pocket and pulled it out. "I have to go," she said, making eye contact with Aiden. His eyes were a color like blood. "See ya."
And with that she walked off. -
((OH BOY THE CLIMAX))
