Ruby just kept sobbing. There was really nothing she could do. She looked up at Zack's green eyes in fear and hopelessnes.

"Don't look at me like that." He kicked in the stomach and saw the pain on her face. But he felt no guilt htough.

She cringed but kept herself from screaming as Zack kicked her. Her head hung low.

"You won't die, I won't kill you." He said.

I know you won't, her mind said. That's the problem...

He pulled her as close as the ropes would allow, and kissed her, sticking his tongue in her mouth.

Ruby gasped briefly and then squeezed her icy blue eyes shut, tears slipping out of them.

He pushed himself against her and he could feel her tears against his face.

As Zach pushed closer to Ruby, she didn't do anything. She couldn't do anything.

He pulled away, and smiled. "You didn't pull away from me. So you must have liked it." He said as he rubbed his hand down her arm.

Ruby cringed and thrust her head down and away from him. She shivered as he ran his hand down her arm.

A knock sounded on the door and he pulled away. The door slide open revealing a young girl at the door. She was chewing on her silver braid and smiled when he saw the girl.

"W-who are you...?" Ruby mumbled in confusion.

"I'm his best friend." She hugged Zack and walked over to Ruby.

"Oh ok," Ruby muttered quietly in response.
