“Ok, I’m ready. Get the new guy so that I can show him around,” Ross said to one of the workers nearby. He nodded and left the room to retrieve him.

Kaipo heard a knock at the door. Kaipo opened the door. A man was standing at the door. "Follow me," he said. Kaipo followed him down a maze of corridors.

There was a knock at the door followed by a gravelly voice. “Agent comemings. Your new partner is here.” Ross looked up from the papers and nodded. “Bring him in,” she responded.

Kaipo was led into the room. Suddenly all his anxiety returned. He knew he must make a good impression on his new boss, if the governments plan was gonna work.

Ross looked up to a man with curly black hair and dark brown eyes. He walked into the room and Ross nodded at him in greeting, holding her hand out for him to shake. “I’m Ross comemings. You must be Kaipo McKay,” she said to him.

"H-Hello," Kaipo said nervously. He timidly reached out and shook her hand.

“You ok? You seem nervous,” Ross said as she shook his hand in return.

"I'm fine," he mumbled, as he actually did begin to feel a little better. "It's a new job..."

“Ah, yeah I see. Well,” Ross began, drawing her hand back gently. “Do You want me to show you around?”

"Yes, please" he said a little less timidly. He couldn't help feeling a bit put at ease by his Boss's kind mannerisms.

Ross nodded and smiled just slightly as she walked over to the door. She then waited for Kaipo. -
Kaipo slowly followed Ross to the door. He knew he would he get lost if he tried to navigate this building by himself

“Ok, so to your left is the break room- it’s where the agents take a rest from their training and whatnot. Then to your right is the training room, where we practice and sharpen our skills and get ready for missions. Then just ahead is the mission room; move is us are allowed to go there. It’s where all the records of missions are kept- finished and unfinished. That’s basically it. The rest of the rooms are personal offices. Oh, and the bathrooms are just ahead and to the left.”

Kaipo listened intently. Somehow what she said, seemed to make sense. But when she mentioned the mission room, his mind raced back to the task he was sent for. He was silent for a moment.
