Erratum felt nervous as he searched for food, silently keeping an eye on one of the larger shark-tails from his pod. He knew the other had been following him for a while, and he had a feeling he knew what the other wanted.

soul giggled as she play with her siblings, darting in and out of the anemones around her home

Erratum froze when he heard laughing, before jolting when the other mer grabbed his arm "go get the others" the larger mer growled, letting go of Erratum. The nurse shark quickly moved to obey, swimming for the others

soul stopped when she heard a low growl, before ushering her siblings back towards their pod

Erratum felt guilty as he told the rest of his pod about what he had found, watching most of the pod take off in the direction of the other pod

soul got everyone in the pod together and warned them that there was another pod around, trying to get them away from here as fast as possible

Erratum was dragged along after the others by another mer, stopping at the edge of a clearing as the others attacked the new pod

soul tried her best to get her brothers and sisters away from the group, bur couldn't get past the attacking pod, and many of her pod were killed before her eyes

Erratum trembled as he watched the slaughter, not aloud to look away

when the massacre was over the ones that survived swam away from the territory as fast as possible, and soul was left on her own. she decided to follow the string tied to her finger, maybe she would find family with her soulmate

Erratum didn't react as he was pulled back to his pads den, staring vacantky at the seafloor

she followed her string right to the pod who attacked her own, but she continued anyway."h-hello?" she called

Erratum heard her but didn't respond, subtlety looking at the other members of his pod to see if they had heard it. Thankfully, they where to busy celebrating to have noticed

He twisted around to look at her in alarm , his eyes wide. "You need to leave, now!" He hissed, glancing back to see if she had been noticed
