Albert said “Follow me downstairs, maybe there is something useful down there.”

maka said"ok, just watch out for dolls"

Albert nodded and started walked to the stairs. So far there appeared to be nothing. He kept walking until he reached the stairs. He took a few steps and then tripped, falling down the rest of the stairs.

maka giggled and carefully followed him down the stairs

Albert rubbed his head and said "It's not funny. I can barely see anything in this stupid costume." He got up and said "Do you see anything dangerous?"

she looked around and said "not at the moment"

Albert said "Alright. We better pick a room. This way." He then walked into a wall and said "Ow, I mean, this way." and got into what looked like the kitchen.

she hid a giggle and followed him, looking around

Albert looked as well as he could in the kitchen but saw nothing out of the ordinary. One thing he did notice that was strange was some shaped holes in the wall. It almost looked like something could fit in them.

maka asked" is it just me, or do these holes look like something could crawl through them

Albert said “Not unless it’s a mouse or bug. They look too small.”
