Albert said "Tell me about it. What was that?" "Someone who has fallen to the magic of this place." said a voice. Albert turned and saw a person in a rabbit costume. Albert said "What do you mean? Magic isn't real."

i'm starting to think it is" she murmured, watching the rabbit warily

The rabbit stood up and said "I can assure you it is. I've been here for almost a year, and I've become something not human. Feel my arm." Albert grabbed the man's arm and felt it. There was no arm inside it, not even bones. Albert asked "What is this?" The rabbit said "This, is what the place will do to you, if you don't get out. Turn you into a human toy. Like that girl you ran from."

how many people were brought here? how do you even get here?" she asked, stepping next to albert

The rabbit said "I couldn't tell you how many. Rough estimate is maybe 14." Albert said "14?" The rabbit replied "Yes. I came here when a cloud of mist just knocked me out and brought me and my wife here."

maka asked"what happened to your wife?"

The rabbit said "You just saw her." Albert said "That was her?" "Yes. She turned before me and I don't think I have much time left. Doomed to wander these halls as a stuffed rabbit. You have to get out of here. Don't bother with the front door, it's locked and the key hasn't been found anywhere."

she asked"do the windows work?, why could climb out of one"

The rabbit shook his head and said "No, we tried that. They're just painted on." Albert said "There must be some way out. Let's explore the house." The rabbit said "If your going to do that, you'll need these." He then stood up, and grabbed a baseball bat and stun gun. He offered them to Albert and Maka.

she grabbed the stun gun, then said, "i would prefer the bat, but you can't shoot guns" looking up at albert

Albert grabbed the bat and said "Yeah, these bumbling fingers are useless for those." The rabbit said "These weapons won't kill them, just stun them. They're indestructible. The stun gun is for the dolls. Electricity makes them go docile for a little bit. Use the bat on any stuffed animal's head to knock them out." Albert said "Thank you." The rabbit then said "One last thing, don't let them catch you."

she nodded and said "thank you, i don't really wanna know what happens if they catch you though"

Albert, ever curious, asked “What happens if they do catch you?” The rabbit said “ They’ll accelerate the magic and you’ll turn faster as long as they have you. Now go. I can’t help you anymore.” Albert nodded and checked to see if the doll was still there. It wasn’t and he said “Come on.”

maka nodded and followed albert out the door, looking side to side for dolls
