Jessie twitched a little in her sleep, murmuring something quietly as her hands clenched into fists.

Ross glanced down at Jessie and hugged her closer, rubbing her back. He hummed quietly, a small smile on his face as he held her close.

Jessie's hands unclenched and her expression seemed to relax. Whatever had been plaguing her dreams seemed to fade into mist. -

Ross scrolled through his phone, still holding his sleeping girlfriend in his arms. He rubbed Jessie's back, glancing down at her every once in a while. -

Jessie stirred, her hair looking like a magnificent red dandelion. "Wha...what time is it?" -
( lol np )
"Uh, dunno," Ross said with a short chuckle. He checked his phone, telling her the time.

Jessie groaned, flopping over. "I've been sleeping for that long? I'm going to have to be wide awake tonight." -
Ross chuckled, sitting up. ``Eh, it's not so bad. I mean, I have terrible insomnia and I'm perfectly fine. Not at all f--ked up from the lack of sleep.`` He groaned quietly, knowing full well she knew that wasn't true.

"Oh you little liar," Jessie said with a playful smack to the leg. "If I'm up all night, I don't want to keep you up too!"

``It's fine,`` Ross said, shrugging. ``I don't mind, honestly. Not like I'm not used to getting no sleep.``

"You need sleep," Jessie protested. "Just one little nap?"

"Okay, okay," Ross replied with a chuckle.

Jessie bundled him up with her blanket, hugging him. "My handsome burrito."

Ross let out a quiet chuckle, leaning against Jessie and pressing a kiss on her cheek.

Jessie made a happy little hum, cuddling close to him.
