Jessie tossed her hair over her shoulder to get it out of her face and began sorting through the groceries, putting them all away and stuffing the plastic bags into the almighty mother of plastic bags that she kept under the sink.
She plopped onto the couch next to Ross with a small candy bar in one hand, curling her feet underneath her. "So what is this project that you're making? Or is it a secret?" -
``It's a secret. Well, not much for you, but for a friend of mine,`` Ross said with a chuckle. ``Her birthday is coming up in a few weeks and I wanted to make her something. We're gonna take her to Universal, since she loves the Harry Potter things there and I thought I'd make her a gift.``

"Aw, that's cute!" Jessie said brightly, taking a smol bite out of the candy bar. "I'm sure she'll love it. Is there anything I can do to help?"

``Uh, I don't think so,`` Ross said. He paused, thinking for a moment. ``Actually, I might need a chain. Like, a chain to use for necklaces. And maybe some small appliances. I don't know, I don't really have a set plan just yet.``

"Well you can let me know when you do," Jessie said, hugging a pillow to her chest and flopping down on the couch. "Ross, tragedy has struck us. Our free Netflix trial is almost up."

``Nooo, not our free Netflix,`` he said dramatically, lying down backwards on the couch and placing a hand over his heart. ``Whatever shall we do??``

"We're going to have to actually pay for it," Jessie said, pretending to sob. "Such terrible loss, such horrendous sorrow. I haven't even finished the second season of my show."

``Oof, sadness,`` Ross said with a chuckle, sitting up. ``Seriously though, why can't Netflix be free? That'd make things much easier.``

"Because they have to make money," Jessie pouted, draping herself over the couch. "Maybe they could do it like YouTube does and just put ads everywhere."

``Yeah, but that'd be annoying,`` he said with a chuckle. ``Unless they were skippable ads. That would be less annoying.``

"Speaking of ads, YouTube has been bombarding me with ads about banana milk. I don't even like banana milk!" Jessie said.

Ross laughed, leaning back against the couch. ``I keep getting those stupid Grammarly ads. The entire thing is now ingrained in my head.``

"Ugh, don't mention it. I could probably cite the whole thing by heart," Jessie said with a groan. "I wish there was a "Not interested" button on ads." -

``Saaame,`` Ross said with a chuckle. ``Then there's these stupid ones for like, this yogurt drink thing. It's so annoying, and I don't even know half the things the ad says. It's all like, scientific words and sh-t.``
