``See ya,`` he replied with a wave, looking up from his laptop for a moment before looking back down, returning to his work.

Jessie walked to the store. Sure, a car or bus would have been faster, but she liked the feeling of travel. Besides, she could use the exercise if she was going to make Double-Stuffed Oreos a part of her life. She strolled into the store, getting the necessities first.

Ross hummed, setting his computer beside him and standing, stretching. He took off his hoodie, revealing an oversized tank top and a binder across his chest. He walked into the kitchen area of his and Jessie's apartment, opening the fridge and grabbing himself a soda can. He opened it and took a sip before walking back into the living area, grabbing any stray trash before tossing them away. Trash always got on his nerves, considering how messy his family was and how he wasn't used to it.

Jessie lifted her basket onto the counter and set it down with a small clunk. She swiped her credit card and was filled with gratitude when it accepted. She had been able to get a job recently and didn't have to count every penny in her pocket any more, something she had been accustomed to doing her whole life. She armed herself with several grocery bags and walked back home.

Ross pulled out his phone and put in earbuds, music blasting through them. He sang, walking around the apartment and cleaning up small messes he found. He paused his cleaning, singing and dancing with a smile on his face.

Jessie managed to open the door and unceremoniously dumped the contents of her grocery bags (and tote bag) onto the table, out of breath. "Next time I'm taking the bus."

Ross stopped dancing around and looked over, seeing Jessie drop her bags down. ``Hey, welcome back. You need any help with that?`` He asked as he pulled out an earbud, gesturing to the groceries.

"I'm good," she wheezed, sorting through the pile of edibles. "Was that you singing or was it Jerome again?"

``Uh, me,`` he said with a chuckle, walking over to the bags and what he needed before walking back over to the couch, sitting down by his laptop.

"Knew it," Jessie said with a coy smile. "Jerome sounds a tad more like Donald Duck."
She reached into one of the bags, before tossing a box to Ross. "You can steal your own Double-Stuffed Oreos this time!" -
He chuckled and nodded, a slight blush appearing on his face.
``Ay, nice,`` he said with a smile, grabbing the box as Jessie tossed it to him.
