Ross chuckled, shrugging.

Cameron pulled out candy bars from her backpack and placed two on the table.
"Tada~" she said, sliding one over to Ross. "I always like to keep chocolate on me." -
``Nice,`` Ross said with a chuckle, grabbing the candy bar. He opened up the wrapper, taking a bite.

Cameron stared at Ross with a quizzical expression on her face. He wasn't like anyone she'd ever known. He was nice and he respected her. She'd only known him for a few hours and already she felt comfortable around him. Maybe she could make a real friend this time.

Ross looked over to Cameron, chuckling. ``Like what you see?`` He said jokingly, taking another bite of the candy bar. ``Ha, I'd be surprised if anyone liked what they saw,`` he muttered, a small smile on his face. He shrugged, rubbing his hand on his jeans.

Cameron's cheeks colored and she took on a defensive expression. "No! I mean I'm not saying that you're NOT good-looking, it's just that wasn't why I was-"
She sighed. "You know what? I'll just shut up right about now." -
Ross chuckled, leaning back in his seat. ``You're fine,`` he said, taking another bite of his candy bar. ``I was just messing around. Sorry.``

The ghost of a smile played at Cameron's lips. "No need to apologize," she said. She was hardly flustered enough to ramble like that. It felt weird. Like, really weird.

Ross nodded shortly, taking another bite of his candy bar before finishing it. He stood and grabbed his and Cameron's plates, taking them to the sink. He out them in and cleaned them off, proceeding to clean up the table and throw away trash.

Cameron watched him with raised eyebrows, looking both bewildered and impressed.
"So Ross," she said, feeling uncomfortably out of her area. "Tell me about yourself." -
"Well uhm, I like video games, music, nature. I am usually a pretty socially awkward person, if it wasn't obvious enough. I also have stims, which is hard to explain, but it's small subtle movements I do to relief stress or anxiety," he rambled awkwardly, making gestures with his hands.

Cameron nodded, smiling where it was appropriate. "So you don't have any stim toys?" she said, playing with her necklace.

``I do, but I lose them easily,`` Ross said with an awkward chuckle. ``And it's hard for me to keep track of them."

"You should get the ring kind," Cameron quipped with an indifferent sort of shrug. "They're harder to lose as long as you don't take them off."

``Duly noted,`` Ross said with a short nod, making a mental note. He grabbed cups off the table and put them in the sink, humming. ``So, what now?``
