C1's not impulsive. Their all about hard work and planning ahead. But one night, on a whim, they buy a lottery ticket. And then, to her astonishment-
They win!
In a flash, C1's life is unrecognizable. No more stressing about college scholarships. Suddenly they're talking about renting a yacht. And being in the spotlight at school is fun . . . until rumors start flying, and random people begin asking her for loans. Now C1 isn't sure who they can trust.
Except for C2, their funny, charming coworker at the local zoo. C2 doesn't seem to be aware of C1's big news. And, for some reason, they don't want to tell them. But what will happen when he learns his secret?

Jo looked down at the scratched off lottery ticket she just bought from the gas station in her hands, eyes wide open. I won?! This- This is unbelievable! she said to herself, folding the small paper in her hands. She smiled contently as she walked back to her car, getting. ``I come to grab snacks for my birthday party, and I win the lottery?? Unbeliveable.`` She said to herself, chuckling.
The next day at school, word had spread of Jo's new growth in wealth, and soon everyone wanted to be her friend. Everyone seemed to treat her as if she were some god. Which she didn't mind, in all honesty. Before, people just ignored Jo, passing by her without a glance. Now? People looked at her, acknowledged her, talked to her and wanted to be her friend! Rather strange how this all changed from winning a lottery ticket.
After school, she drove her way to the local zoo, her job. She pulled up at the parking lot and grabbed her bag with her uniform, heading into the large animal-filled enclosure. She looked around, spotting her co-worker and best friend, Tyler. ``Hey Tyler!`` She said with a smile, waving and walking over to him. -

Tyler was working at his job having fun feeding the animals and that trying to catch their monkey that escapes every now and then,.
Tyler heard his Jo's voice from the parking lot and said "Hey Jo, how you doing today?". -
``I'm doing really good,`` Jo said with a smile. ``Had an great birthday this year 'round.``
``JO,`` her boss called, causing her to look over.
``Yes, sir?``
``Get your uniform on and get over to the elephant exhibit! You're on feeding duty!`` He called to Jo and she nodded, hoisting her bag onto her shoulder.
``Got it sir,`` she replied, heading off to get changed into her uniform. ``I'll be back,`` she said to Tyler, walking off.
