Grayson nodded, exhaling. ``She wasn't always like that. It kind of started these past few years, with her job and all.``

yeah, i understand that things can be stressful, but that doesn't justify hurting your children" she said

``Yeah. I mean, things have always been pretty stressful, with not having a ton of money and both my parents having to handle multiple jobs and two kids.``

she sighed, "again, no reason to hurt you kids" she said, looking at grayson

She nodded in agreement, hugging onto Luna's waist. ``Can we go back to your place?``

yeah, gladly, do you want to pack anything?" she asked, putting her down

``Uh, I don't think so,`` she said, shaking her head. ``I grabbed my phone earlier, but if we need to come back for anything, we can.``

ok, want me to give you a piggy back there?" she asked

She nodded, giggling.

she turned and crouched down, waiting for grayson to hop on

Grayson jumped onto Luna, hugging her neck and wrapping her legs around her waist.

luna stood up and started walking home, her face void of any emotion

Grayson clung to Luna, resting her head on top of hers. She hummed quietly, closing her eyes for a moment.

you ok up there gray" she asked, letting out a chuckle

``Mhm, just tired,`` she said with a chuckle, opening her eyes.
