Jacob(husband’s name ig) was searching everywhere. Where was Tessa? She ran away, didn’t she? Jacob was aware that his wife didn’t wish to be married to him. He shook his head and sighed in exasperation as he continued to search for her. He saw her curled up under a tree in commoner’s clothing. He could tell it was her. “TESSA,” he shouted to her.

She awoke with a startled gasp. She looked up only to see the person she had been running away from. Tessa shot up and backed away from him.

"Tessa, you can't run away, you know it won't work," Jacob said to her, slowly stepping towards her. "Come home."

She shook her head. "I can't," she said. "I can't do it." Tessa quickly started walking away

"Tessa," Jacob said, reaching forward and grabbing her wrist.

"No!" Tessa cried and wrenched her arm away from him. She ran away from Jacob as fast as she could

"Tessa!" Jacob began to run after her. But he had spent too long searching for her; his legs were too weak. "No..." he said as he dropped to his knees.

Tessa didn't look behind her. She wanted to leave that life behind her.

Michael(the other character in the plot) woke up to the golden morning sunlight shining down on his face. He smiled and got up, trotting into the serene forest for his daily morning walk.

Tessa finally saw the next town in the distance. Elated, she started speed walking towards it, despite how tired she was from walking all night.

Michael her fast footsteps crunching the dried leaves in the distance. He turned his head to see a girl walking towards the village. She looked so fatigued, was she okay? Michael trotted toward her to see if she needed any help.

Tessa stopped and turned at the sound of footsteps. A flicker of fear passed over her face before she realized that he probably wasn't sent by anyone to go after her.

"Do you need any help, miss?" Michael asked the girl as she approached her.

Tessa hesitated. "I think I will," she said. She looked at him. He had a kind face.

Michael nodded and gestured his hand to the village. "Well, this is the village. If you need any help getting there, just tell me. And if you need a place to stay, then I have an extra bedroom in my home."
