``Y-You're fine!`` Ashton said, shaking their head. ``I'm just not u-use to having someone stare at me.``

Error didn't have a response to that, though he seemed mildly amused. His wings then violently twitched in their binding, causing him to hiss in pain and grab them

Ashton watched Error for a moment, wondering whether they should offer to help him.

Error held his wings still as he waited for them to stop twitching

Ashton cleared their throat before standing again, walking over to a cabinet and putting away the book they were holding. Phoenix walked into the living room, walking over to Error and sniffing him. Ashton stood for a moment before grabbing a small stack of books, bringing them back to the couch they sat at. They looked over to Phoenix, giggling quietly as they watched the fox sniff Error.

Error held very still as he was sniffed, not wanting to spook the animal

``Phoenix, c'mere,`` Ashton said, calling the fox over to them. The fox yipped, bounding over yo Ashton and hopping up onto the couch they sat on.

Error relaxed, letting go of his wings "so how did you get a pet fox?"

``He actually wandered into my house one day after I went out,`` Ashton said as Phoenix walked into their lap. ``I had given him food and he just wouldn't leave, so I figured I'd keep him.``

Error snorted softly at that "seems like something Blue would do" he said, sounding amused and sad

``Who's Blue?`` Ashton asked, brushing stray strands of hair out of her face. ``Was Blue like, a pet?``

Error winced a little "no. He was a friend. My uh. Only friend, actually. " He said, idly playing with his strings

``Oh, that's nice,`` Olive said with a sad smile. ``I don't have any friends, sadly. I mean, that and there's no one near here within 20 miles.``

Error just pointed at the fox in response, amused

``Well, other than Phoenix,`` Ashton said, giggling. ``He's kinda my only friend, and the only living thing I have to talk with.`` They smiled, running their hand through his fur coat.
