"Portal" he said vaugly, seeming tired. He seemed to think about something and turned his head slightly while making a waving gesture, causing a small screen with code to appear. He eyed it wearily, before typing a few things in on a keyboard that appeared before the screen vanished

``Ah, got i-it,`` Ashton replied, crossing their legs. They grabbed their book sitting beside them and set it in their lap, watching Error for a moment. ``So, what a-a-are you?`` They asked bluntly, pointing at Error.

Error hummed a little in thought, the noise staticy "A Skeleton, as far as I know" he said. He lifted his hands up and formed his strings, his fingers twitching before they shot up and attached harmlessly to the ceiling. He wove them together into a swing before sitting on it

``Interesting,`` Ashton said, their nose twitching. ``I've n-never seen anything like you, so you c-c-can probably see why I'm curious.``

Error seemed a little amused at that "I understand " he said gently, smiling faintly. This was nice, he decided, being able to just have a conversation with someone without getting attacked.

``I mean, I-I've only ever seen like, half-wolves, h-half-cats, half-b-birds,`` Ashton said, resting their hands on the book in their lap.

"My kind arnt the most common of creatures" he answered vaugly, tilting head head to the side

Ashton nodded, running a hand through their hand. ``Anyways, m-my name's Ashton,`` they said with a smile.

Error blinked at that but nodded, silently repeating the name to himself to remember it

``Uh, do-do you need anything?`` Ashton asked, standing up and fidgeting with the collar of her button up blouse.

He shook his head "no. Ill probably leave in a little while

Ashton nodded, setting their book down and standing up. ``Well, if y-you don't need anything, I'll be in the kitchen. G-Gotta feed my baby,`` they said, walking into a seperate room. ``Phoenix! C'mere, boy!``

Error stopped at that, his glitching being the only movement "you have a child?"

``Not an actual child,`` Ashton replied, reaching for a bowl. ``Phoenix is my pet fox, but he's basically my son,`` they added, filling the bowl with some food for their pet.

Error nodded in understanding, idly tugging at his wings
