Plot:
C1 is kidnapped by C2, who turns out to have been their childhood friend at one point.
C2 desperately needs C1 to become their bride. Why? Once C2 kidnapped C1 (it was originally for a different reason) they were sucked into a different century and they became different people.
C2 is a young prince/princess. Just as he/she crosses the age of 17, people are proposing to him/her like crazy and he has to choose one to marry. He hates all of them.
C1 is the only way they can get out of this - if C1 proposes to C2, C2 doesn't have to pick a suitor.
:) Then they start dating and get engaged and stuff. <3

Adonis frowned down at her and shook her gently, which loosened the ropes around her waist a little. He wanted to help her get up from her chair badly, but he needed this from her. He bit his lip until it bled. Finally, he resolved to wait until she awoke. "Might thyself awakeneth?" he whispered. -

"I needest thou," Adonis explained darkly, gripping her wrists and untying her. "I—" His voice cracked. "Please, help me," he croaked.
The room was dark and empty except for the chair he’d tied Arabella to, and even he barely knew how to escape, so surely she wouldn’t get out.
"I'll explain everything later," he said briskly as he sat down on the wet floor. His bare feet made a squelch sound as he did, but he ignored that. "But will you promise to help me now?" he asked. -

Arabella creased her eyebrows. "I would like to know what it is I'm helping you with before I agree. For all I know I could be agreeing to murder someone for you." -
Adonis gave a hearty guffaw. "Always a possibility, but please. I beg of you," he said, his green eyes shining through the dark. "I need help, alright? You’re the only valid candidate I’ve found. And…" He shook his head. "Never mind. Forget I said anything. You can go now if you want."
