i'm gonna take a nap in the nest" she said with a yawn, before turning to walk up the stairs

Ghost chirped and followed her

she walked into her room and towards the nest, crawling in and kneading the blankets then laying down, turning around and opening her arms in an invitation

Ghost slithered into the nest, curling around her before setting his head in her arms

hugging him, she started humming soft lullabies

Ghost closed his eyes one set at a time, humming the lullabies back to her

when she was sure he fell asleep she cuddled a bit closer and fell asleep herself.

kirin woke up and stretched with a yawn, smiling down at the figure attached to her. feeling a bit lazy she decided to stay and think, some thoughts more negative than usual -
Ghost woke up when she stretched, blinking at her.
