"You haven't eaten for eighteen hours, and plus wandering around the caves and then having a breakdown must have worn you out," Rowan said.

“Breakdowns never wear me out!” Jasmine said.

"But wandering in caves does," Rowan said. "Eat."

“Good point.” Jasmine said. She took a bite of her food.

Rowan started eating his own food. It was one of his better batches, he had to say.

"Wow, this is really good!" Jasmine remarked.

"Well I'm glad you appreciate your kidnapper's cooking," Rowan said.

“Fine, I hate it then.” Jasmine said.

"Aren't we a little moody," he commented.

“Says you.” Jasmine said, rolling her eyes.

"Says me," Rowan agreed.

Jasmine crossed her arms and sighed.

"You only had one bite," Rowan said, seeming concerned.
