It was nighttime for Renna. Jathiern opened a portal to her bedroom and took her through without her realizing.
For the past week he had been studying the anatomy of this human, this girl.
Jathiern laid her down on a metal bed. He did various things on her. Cut off some of her limbs and reattached them when he was finished. When he would put her limbs back on her he'd do it so that they'd work exactly as they had before he had removed them. There was hardly any trace that anything had happened, at least outwardly. Inwardly you could tell that something had fused them together, but likely no one would notice, not even the girl.
When he was finished he brought her back through the portal. He decided that he'd do something else too, soon.
(So I'm thinking like, she's extremely sore, she's having time skips from when she's being taken by Jathiern, so like the moment she falls asleep it feels like she wakes up just a second later, she's extremely irritable from lack of sleep, so on) -
(DANG, SHE SLEEPS LIKE A LOG)

When Renna woke up the next morning, she felt extremely sore. "What the heck-? Why am I hurting so much." She said with a pained groan. Renna accidently fell out of her bed. She yelled out in anger and slammed her fist against the wall only to let out a pained yell. -
(No, it's the time skips, that's why she doesn't wake up)
(I'm thinking Jathiern comes in when he thinks she's asleep but he was wrong and she was actually awake.)
Jathiern started writing things down about observations, and whatnot. -

Renna frowned. She must've been sleepwalking or something and tripped, that could be why she was hurting. -
The way that humans were able to move their limbs was interesting. Joints were quite common to them, Jathiern was full of them with his multiple arms, but the other things that resided under the skin...those were strange.
Jathiern had a sort of gelatinous substance instead of muscles. -

Renna went to go cook her breakfast. -
