"Okay," Jenna said, obviously confused by the thought of 'light gods'. "One last thing, does this shield thing around me ever die or is it there until you turn it off?"
-
"No, the bracelets will use my power's till I die or until they remove the bracelet." He smiled and he had tears in his eyes. He would protect her till the end even if it meant certain death.
-
Jenna blinked. "Oh," was all she said. "But they can't take it off if they can't get down here."
-
"No. It must be removed by the wear or the owner of the bracelet officially." He found himself wishing he could kiss her but he instead turned away to look around.
-
She nodded in understanding. The one thing she could understand around here. She really was grateful for everything Cash was doing for her, even though she didn't know why he was doing it.

He blushed and for once was happy he couldn't see his face only his back. "You can hide behinds these." He motioned for to hide behind the shelves. -
Jenna got up and went behind them. "Thank you," she said.
-
"Your welcome." For once he actually meant it. He leaned against the shelf waiting, knowing they would come soon.
-
"I trust you," Jenna admitted quietly. "Out of everyone here you're the one I trust the most."
-
"Same to you. But if I tell you to run then run. Okay?" He hoped she knew that if he told her to run then he probably wouldn't be alive for long. That he would fight for her with his last breath.
-
"But what about you?" Jenna asked, thoroughly concerned.
-
"I will stay here and fight. But whatever I say you must do. I will get you out of here." He winked at her, smiling.
-
"But..." How did Jenna tell him that she didn't want him to put himself in danger for her? How did she tell him when she knew he wouldn't listen?
-
"Please, don't argue with me." He turned towards her and the door at the top of the stairs crept open showing off the hallways blinding white light.
-
"There's someone there!" she whisper-screamed as she saw the light shine down the stairs, just in her line of sight.
