(Yeah, tat's back!)
"We have to go down to the weaponry room to get the swords, okay?" He asked. -
(Sorry, things to do)
"Won't the others miss you?" she asked, glancing at them as she followed Harrison. -
"No, they know there way around here. And if they need me they surely will find me." He laughed at his response and motioned toward one of the darker hallways.
-
"Okay," she said, walking next to him.
She just realized she hardly knew this guy. But she trusted him. She felt good around him, as if she wasn't confined to anything. -
He lead her down long hallway into a room full of weapons, Bladed Weapons, , Impact Weapons, Throwing/Projectile Weapons, Firearm Weapons, and a few Explosive Weapons.
-
"Dude you have a whole armory down here," Jenna said.
She felt her phone buzzing in her pocket. Someone was calling her. She took it out of her pocket and looked at the ID. Her dad only called when it was important, so she picked up and held the phone to her ear.
"Hey, what is it?" she asked.
"Why haven't you been answering your texts?" he asked.
"I turned the sound off," Jenna answered.
"Get home now," her dad said. "I don't trust that Harrison guy."
"Why not?" she asked. She started wandering around the room aimlessly.
"Haven't you heard what people have said - "
"I've never known you to listen to rumors."
"I do when it involves my daughter's safety,"
"Look, dad, these are my friends " she said. She looked around and realized that her wanderings had brought her to the other side of the room from where Harrison was. "For the first time, I'm not that random girl in the corner watching everyone have the fun. For the first time I feel like I'm worth something among my peers."
"And what happens when they seize that away from you?" her dad said. "What happens when they leave you worse off than you were before?"
"I'm a big kid now," Jenna said "Live and learn, that's what you've always been trying to teach me"
Her dad gave a huff of defeat then said, "I expect you home by eleven o'clock sharp."
"Don't worry," she said. "Love you." And then she hung up.
"Sorry about that," Jenna said, walking back to Harrison. "I'm not sure why he wouldn't trust you." -
"My parents are rich, they have rumors about how they got the money. But then what made it worse was when my brother was killed in the truck accident." He frowned.
-
"Oh no," Jenna said looking up at him. "I'm sorry." She put a hand on his arm.
-
"It's okay." He looked at the swords and asked, "What sword do you wanna use?"
-
"Um," she said a little dramatically. "Whatever you think is best."
-
Pulling down a very light sword with green gems he handed it to her then he pulled down a a little bit heavier red gemed sword. "Unguard." He said jokingly.
-
"I can already tell you're going to win," she said with a soft laugh.
-
"Not if you listen to me." He showed her the ways the move and twist with the sword. He laughed when she did good and helped her when she didn't.
-
In one of the moves she was practicing, she either tripped over nothing or her own feet, but either way she was falling towards the ground and she couldn't move her hands or arms in time.
"OWW" she yelled, tears forming in her eyes. She had fallen on the sword. She flipped over to see what damage was done.
She had a slash on each shin and blood was coming out of these cuts. She didn't know if they were deep or not, but either way they hurt.
"OWowowowOWOWOwow," she said, taking deep breaths and trying to keep herself from crying from the pain, but failing as the tears flowed down her cheeks. -
His eyes widened. "Come sit down."
(Is it okay if I make your character go to sleep so he can heal her wounds without her knowing.)
