Theta felt a little queasy as they finally arrived, hid vents clicking

Amy ran into the building, panting the whole way. -
She gets called to a investigate a breakin? She is a cop)
Theta followed after her -

The chief of police greeted Amy at the door with a frown.
"You're late." he snapped.
Amy flinched and lowered her gaze to the floor. "I'm so sorry sir, I'll do better next time!"
The chief sighed and shook his head. "That doesn't matter right now. I have an urgent job for you." he said. -
Theta stood just behind her, staying silent

The chief looked behind Amy and scrunched his nose. "What the hell is that?!" He yelled.
Amy sucked in a breath before saying, "A friend." -
Thetas vents clicked once at 'thing' but otherwise he didn't react

"That doesn't matter. Just go to this address and investagate the breakl in." The chief muttered.
Amy nodded and walked back to her car. -
Theta trailed after her silently

Once Theta got into the car, Amy drove to the crime scene.
The crime scene was at a museum, one with many rare things.
But the thing that got stolen was a necklace.
And it wasn't just any necklace, it was the only kind of necklace in the whole world. -
Theta looked around as they arrived, his eyelights flickering a little

As soon as they walked inside the building, Amy took Theta to a corner. "You stay here while I investigate." she said.

Amy left him and went to a different room.
While she was inspecting the robbery, a man dressed in all black came out of the shadows and grabbed her, forcing the knife onto her throat.
Amy screamed.
