"Do you think you could write why with the piece of paper and pen of the desk over there?" She said looking at the desk

He turned his head to look, before nodding and moving to the desk. He wrote for a bit beforw handing her the paper
'they wanted me to use my strings to hurt people, but i dont want to do that. So they turned me and put me in there in the hopes that i would obey them out of self preservation' -
"Cruel people, Do you know anything else?" She asked

He shook his head, scratching at the lines on his face

"Hmmm, what about your powers?" She asked

He hesitated, tugging at the strings that had formed around their fingers before beginning to write again
i can control people with them, or just use them like i am. I dont like hurting people. -
"Well you have different abilites then others so we're gonna have to keep you safe

" She said calmly

He stopped, blinking at her before quickly scribbling
your not going to make me hurt people? -
"No I won't and no shall, in this coven we like to keep things peaceful but if there's other covens around we tend to get violent, you don't have to do anything you don't want to." She said sweetly.

He dropped the paper and hugged her

Surprised by the hug she hugged the boy back and patted his pack

He started crying, hiccuping softly
